Resensi Film La La Land (2017)

Hi Dreamers...
         Siapa belum menonton film La La Land? Mungkin sebagian besar sudah nonton ya.. Buat yang belum menonton dan masih ragu film nya bagus atau nggak, ini saku kasih pendapatkanku tentang film La La Land ini.

       Film La La Land ini bergenre musikal romantis gitu, jadi pasti buat kalian para jomblo pada baper deh. Buat yang suka drama musikal, film ini rekomended lagunya bagus-bagus dan latar tempatnya juga gaya-gaya klasik gitu. Aku jadi kangen nonton teater lagi. Sedikir info saja, film ini ditulis oleh Damien Chazelle yang kemudian diproduksi oleh Summit Entertainment. Film musikal ini pertama kali dirilis di acara Festival Film Venice pada tanggal 31 Agustus 2016, yang kemudian ditayangkan di Amerika pada tanggal 9 Desember 2016. 

      Oke langsung ceritanya saja ya. Film ini bermula dari adegan kemacetan sebuah Tol di Los Angelas yang kemudian diisi oleh nyanyian Another Day of Sun. Kejenuhan menunggu kemacetan berganti dengan kemeriahan dan keceriaan bernyanyi bersama. Dalam kemacetan itu lah Mia (diperankan oleh Emma Stone) dan Sebastian (diperankan Oleh Ryan Gosling) pertama kali bertemu. 

         Mia adalah seorang pengawai di salah satu coffe shop yang berambisi menjadi seeorang artis, sedangkan Sebastian adalah seorang pianis jazz yang berbakat, namun tidak banyak yang mengakui bakatnya sehingga dia hanya menjadi pianis untuk acara-acara kecil. Sama hal dengan Sebastian yang kurang beruntung, Mia juga selalu gagal dalam audisi aktingnya. Untuk menghibur Mia yang gagal teman-temannya mengajak Mia menghadiri sebuah pesta untuk mencari relasi. Sebuah ajakan yang dituangkan dalam lagu Someone in The Crowd yang dinyanyikan Mia dan 3 sahabatnya. Sepulang dari pesta, Mia mendengar suara piano yang dimainkan Sebastian di Sebuah Cafe. Mia terkesima dengan penampilan Sebastian di cafe tersebut, namun tidak dengan pemilik Cafe. Karena Sebastian tidak memainkan piano sesuai dengan list lagu yang diberikan, pemilik cafe memecat Sebastian dari pekerjaannya. 

          Ternyata dunia memang sempit untuk mereka berdua. Mereka kembali bertemu di acara party dimana Sebastian menjadi pianis Band yang diundang. Dari situlah mereka mulai berkenalan. Selesai pesta Sebastian mengantarkan Mia mencari mobilnya untuk menghindari seseorang yang akan mendekati Mia. Saat itulah mereka mulai menyanyikan lagu A Lovely Night dan mulai berdansa. Saat itu mereka  baru berkenalan dan benih-benih keromantisan sudah mulai terlihat. Namun, mereka masih malu mengakui perasaan masing-masing. Hingga, Sebastian menemui Mia di Coffe Shop tempat Mia berkerja. Mereka pulang sambil bersama dan bercerita banyak hal, tentang impian dan kegagalan yang dialami. Dari situ ketertarikan mereka semakin kuat, dan mereka membuat janji untuk kembali bertemu di bioskop. Namun dihari yang sama, kekasih Mia datang dan meminta Mia untuk bertemu dengan saudaranya yang baru tiba di LA.

            Mia ikut bergabung dengan kekasihnya, namun Mia tidak bisa membohongi hatinya sehingga dia pergi meninggalkan kekasihnya untuk bertemu dengan Sebastian. Dari situlah kisah percintaan Mia dan Sebastian di mulai. Sepasang kekasih baru yang mempunyai impian dan berusaha mendukung satu sama lain untuk meraih impiannya. Penggambaran kisah cinta yang romantis antara Mia dan Sebastian. Namun, ada peluang baru ada halangan baru. Sebastian yang mendapat tawaran bagus menjadi seorang pemain keyboard band terkenal, namun permainan keyboardnya sangat berbeda dengan aliran Jazz yang menjadi impiannya. Mia yang juga sibuk mempersiapkan diri untuk bermain teater monolog dirinya sendiri. Disaat-saat masa berat ini lah mereka menghibur diri dengan sebuah lagu City of Stars. 

     Sebastian menerima kontrak menjadi pemain keyboard dalam band dan mulai sibuk mempersiapkan diri untuk memulai karirnya. Mia juga sangat sibuk mempersiapkan diri untuk teater pertamanya. Kesibukan masing-masing membuat mereka tidak sempat berkomunikasi satu sama lain. Tour yang dilakukan Sebastian dan Bandnya juga membuat Bastian jarang berada di rumah. Mia yang rindu karena sudah lama tidak bertemu mencoba menelpon Sebastian. Ternyata Sebastian sudah berada di rumah dan memberikan kejutan dengan menyiapkan makan malam. Namun, pertemuaan mereka berubah menjadi keributan. Perselisihan pendapat mengenai karir, impian, dan kelangsungan hubungan mereka mulai diungkit. Hal ini membuat Mia sedih dan meninggalkan rumah Sebastian. 

        Puncak perselihan terjadi ketika di hari teater Mia, tidak banyak penonton yang datang dan penampilan Mia dijadikan hujatan. Terlebih Sebastian tidak berada di sana untuk mendukung Mia karena bersamaan dengan jadwal pemotretan Bandnya. Mia yang merasa gagal memutuskan pulang ke rumah orang tuanya. Mia sudah tidak mau mendengar penjelasan Sebastian yang datang terlambat. Dan saat itulah hubungan mereka berakhir. Sebastian membatalkan kontraknya dengan Bandnya dan kembali ke biasaannya dahulu. Saat dia mengetahui ada peluang casting untuk Mia, dia mencoba menyakinkan Mia untuk mengikuti casting tersebut. Mia kemudian mau kembali mengikuti casting dengan menceritakan kisah The Fools Who Dream yang dia tuangkan dalam bentuk musikal. 

            Singkat cerita, Mia berhasil lolos casting dan berangkat ke Paris untuk casting. Lima tahun berlalu, Mia menggapai impiannya menjadi seorang artis terkenal yang sudah menikah dan memiliki seorang anak perempuan. Mia yang kembali ke LA, sedang makan malam dengan suaminya dan mendengar musik Jazz dari sebuah cafe. Dia dan suaminya memasuki cafe tersebut dan yang dia lihat nama cafe tersebut adalah nama yang pernah dia buat bersama Sebastian. Seperti perkiraannya tempat tersebut adalah milik Sebastian, sebuah tempat yang dipenuhi oleh alunan musik Jazz dan penuh pengunjung. Sebastian juga berhasil meraih impiannya. Mereka sama-sama berhasil meraih impiannya namun tidak dengan cintanya. Saat itulah Sebastian memainkan pianonya dan semua kenangan tentang mereka saat bersama muncul. Harapan jika saja semua yang mereka rencanakan dahulu berjalan sesuai rencana yang diharapkan, pastinya sekarang ini mereka sudah bersama. Namun apa yang terjadi tidaklah seperti yang diharapkan. Saat ini mereka berjalan dijalan yang berbeda dengan menghadap ke arah impian mereka masing-masing. Selesai.

           Akhir cerita ini sedih banget guys, aku berharap akhir cerita film ini seperti versi yang ada dibayangan mereka, happy ending. Tapi kehidupan memang tidak semudah yang dibayangkan, dan terkadang kita harus bisa menerima apa yang terjadi. Hiks.. hiks.. Agak sebel memang akhirnya Mia malah menikah dengan orang lain, tapi over all ceritanya bagus guys. Buat film ini aku kasih rating 8.0. See you guys.... ^^,
